At least three years of experience in mechanical design.

Responsibilities
Demonstrate experience in Mechanical Systems Design for the built environment and develop construction documents in a collaborative engineering environment, working with architects and other engineers in the Rocky Mountain region.
Perform equipment selection, mechanical plan layout, and specification writing; coordinate with consultants and team members and interact with clients.
Maintain rapport with industry vendors and stay up to date on mechanical system trends and solutions relevant to building technologies and the design/construction industry.
Develop and design within a building information modeling (BIM) design environment.
Collaborate with internal and external project teams to execute projects from concept to completion, including attending meetings and site visits, responding to requests for information (RFIs), and reviewing and responding to submittals.
Travel to jobsites throughout the state and region.
Desired Qualifications
Passing the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam and earning Engineer Intern (E.I.) certification.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer to join our team in our Colorado Springs office. The qualified applicant will be able to demonstrate an established career in Mechanical Systems Design for the built environment, and an ability to develop construction documents in a collaborative environment of engineers within Bridgers & Paxton and working with architects and other engineers within the Rocky Mountain region.
