Requirements
  • The candidate must be at least 18 years of age.
  • The candidate must be available to coach on Saturdays.
  • The candidate must have a passion for working with children and helping them develop skills and confidence through soccer.
  • The candidate must have reliable transportation because classes are held at different locations within the territory.
  • The candidate must have a clean, valid driver's license.
  • The candidate must pass state and FBI background checks, including checks for DUI/DWI.
  • The candidate must meet attendance and punctuality expectations.
Responsibilities
  • Lead children in fun and educational soccer activities while ensuring safety for all.
  • Use individual attention to help every child succeed.
  • Use a non-competitive approach to create fun, stress-free classes.
  • Use positive reinforcement to encourage children to improve and celebrate achievements.
  • Attend regular trainings and follow the Super Soccer Stars Coaching Manual.
  • Travel short distances to class locations around Delaware County and surrounding areas.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience working with children aged 2.5 to 6, such as experience as a teacher, substitute teacher, camp counselor, or childcare provider.
  • CPR and First Aid Certification.
  • Ability to teach classes in an organized, structured, and fun manner.
  • Ability to maintain energy and enthusiasm throughout every class.
  • A genuine desire to create a joyful work environment.
  • Creativity and the ability to think outside the box when needed.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with directors, teachers, parents, and children.
