A bachelor's degree or higher in computer information systems or a related field, or an associate's degree in computer information systems or a related field plus two years of full-time paid experience, or equivalent part-time experience, in computer operations, technical support, or system development.
A high school diploma or high school equivalency diploma plus four years of experience in computer operations, technical support, or system development may be accepted.
An equivalent combination of training and experience as defined in the listed qualification alternatives.
Ontario County is currently seeking qualified applicants for a full-time Technical Specialist (Information Systems) position.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: EITHER:
Possession of a Bachelor's Degree, or higher, in computer information systems or related field; OR
Possession of an Associate's Degree in computer information systems or related field AND two (2) years of full-time paid experience, or its part-time equivalent, in computer operations, technical support or system development; OR
Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma AND four (4) years of experience as described above in (2) above; OR
An equivalent combination of training and experience as defined in (1), (2), and (3) above.
