- An associate degree is required.
- Demonstrated successful coaching and/or playing experience is required.
- Ability to learn and recruit student-athletes is required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required.
- Ability to assess situations, solve problems, and develop effective solutions is required.
- Ability to travel and work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed, is required.
- Ability to foster positive relationships with students, colleagues, the college community, and external stakeholders is required.
- Ability to abide by National Junior College Athletic Association and Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference rules and regulations is required.
- A valid driver's license and compliance with Pratt Community College driving standards are required.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the development of student-athletes in the classroom and on the court.
- Assist in the development, organization, supervision, and management of the women's basketball program.
- Recruit student-athletes.
Desired Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Collegiate coaching experience and/or collegiate playing experience is preferred.
