About the job

Requirements
  • A degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Eligibility for Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency registration upon graduating.
  • Graduated in the last 12 months or graduating in 2025.
  • A full valid driver's license, access to your own vehicle, and third-party insurance.
  • A valid Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain one.
  • A clear current Police Check, or willingness to obtain one.
  • NDIS Workers Screening Clearance, or willingness to obtain one.
  • First Aid and CPR certification, or willingness to obtain them.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills, and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
  • Help children achieve developmental milestones such as fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination to support play, school, or independent skills.
  • Educate and involve parents, carers, and others to facilitate children's development and learning.
  • Help children with developmental delays learn everyday tasks such as bathing, getting dressed, brushing their teeth, and feeding themselves.
  • Help children with behavioural issues maintain positive behaviours in all environments by supporting positive ways to manage anger and emotions.
