Requirements
  • Be proficient in carpentry, including partition framing with metal or wood studs, basic cabinetry and countertop installation, and door and window installation.
  • Have basic knowledge of plumbing, including replacing and installing sinks, faucets, toilets, and basic drainage and water lines.
  • Have basic knowledge of electrical work, including replacing and installing light fixtures, switches, and outlets, making basic data connections, and diagnosing minor electrical problems.
  • Have basic computer skills and the ability to follow Occupational Safety and Health Administration requirements.
  • Supply basic construction hand tools.
  • Have OSHA 10-hour training or complete it within three months of employment; the employer pays for the training.
  • Be able and willing to travel and work overnight shifts throughout the United States when needed.
  • Be able to work overtime or on-call as workload and emergency issues require.
Responsibilities
  • Perform commercial renovations and buildouts.
  • Complete interior and exterior painting.
  • Install VCT, LVT, tile, carpet squares, and cove base flooring.
  • Communicate with customers and build relationships.
  • Document repairs in detail, including measurements, pictures, repair recommendations, and quotes.
