About the company

Camden Center treats people with psychiatric, addictive, and eating disorders through outpatient programs that combine mental health care with medical treatment. Its physician-operated practice brings specialists from psychotherapy, psychiatry, nutrition, and body-based therapies into a care team assembled for each patient. Patients attend intensive day treatment while living independently, or use more supervised programs that coordinate clinical care with support outside the treatment center. The practice charges for personalized treatment and uses ongoing assessments to guide care as patients work toward recovery. Camden Center was founded in 2011 and is headquartered in Los Angeles, with clinical services in San Francisco.

  • Retirement support accompanies full-time nursing in Los Angeles: Camden's posting includes a matching 401(k) for full-time employees.

What critics are saying

  • Camden's Los Angeles assessment program lasts two weeks and combines psychiatric evaluation with whole-body and brain imaging.
  • Camden's supportive-living program pairs treatment with partner residences capped at three to four patients per home.
