Requirements
  • The candidate must have 2 to 5 years of recruiting experience, ideally including meaningful technical searches.
  • The candidate must have experience recruiting deeply technical profiles in hardware, embedded systems, robotics, controls, optics, machine learning, or an adjacent engineering field.
  • The candidate must demonstrate strong judgment in assessing candidates against role requirements.
  • The candidate must have applicant tracking system discipline and experience with Ashby, Greenhouse, or a similar system.
  • The candidate must be comfortable with ambiguity, changing priorities, and building processes while operating them.

Responsibilities
  • Run full-cycle recruiting for priority technical searches, including screening, process management, references, and offer coordination.
  • Qualify and assess candidates against role requirements in close partnership with hiring managers.
  • Manage on-site operations, including scheduling, travel logistics, invitations, candidate-facing communication, and tracker hygiene.
  • Maintain Ashby as the single source of truth through clean stages, scorecards, archive hygiene, and follow-ups.
  • Run same-day debrief cadences after on-site interviews and prevent candidates from stalling in the funnel.
  • Coordinate the onboarding handoff for new hires.
  • Improve recruiting workflows through templates, reminders, operating cadences, and documentation.
  • Report on recruiting pipelines through weekly syncs, quarterly tracking, sourced-versus-inbound analysis, stage conversion, and bottleneck tracking.
  • Independently manage screens and processes for at least three priority searches during the first 90 days.
  • Establish a weekly recruiting operating cadence with the Head of Talent.
  • Independently own multiple concurrent searches from kickoff through accepted offer.
  • Contribute 2 to 4 hires per month during active hiring periods.
  • Build trusted relationships with hiring managers and run their interview loops end to end.

  • Experience working at a startup or high-growth company.
  • Experience owning recruiting operations, reporting cadences, or process documentation.

  • Experience in defense technology, robotics, hardware, or deep-tech startups; agency recruiting with end-to-end technical search ownership; or in-house recruiting at Series A to Series C companies managing multiple requisitions without a coordinator.
