Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience as a product manager for a software or SaaS product, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Strong understanding of product discovery, customer-problem validation, user feedback, behavioral data, and market insights.
  • Ability to translate customer problems into product strategy, roadmaps, epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, hypotheses, and measurable outcomes.
  • Strong prioritization skills and ability to balance customer value, business impact, technical debt, stability, maintenance, and strategic product initiatives.
  • Experience collaborating with engineering teams and understanding technical trade-offs, delivery constraints, system components, and long-term maintainability.
  • Experience developing business cases, assessing revenue impact, and contributing to pricing, packaging, go-to-market, or commercial recommendations.
  • Strong stakeholder-management skills and ability to build relationships, communicate trade-offs, and create alignment across Product, Technology, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Support.
  • Fluency in Dutch and English.

Responsibilities

  • Collect and interpret customer feedback, user behavior, input from customer-facing teams, market insights, and product data.

  • Define and maintain a clear product vision and direction for the assigned product domain.
  • Balance customer value, business impact, technical debt, maintenance, stability, and strategic initiatives; make priorities and trade-offs transparent; and base roadmap decisions on data, insights, and business objectives.
  • Define relevant product key performance indicators and success metrics, set realistic targets, establish experiments where appropriate, and evaluate whether product improvements achieve their intended impact.
  • Use data and evidence to support decisions, validate assumptions, and communicate progress to stakeholders.
  • Build deep expertise in the product domain, including customer segments, accounting and tax processes, sales performance, customer satisfaction, churn, win/loss analysis, competitive analysis, and market expectations.
  • Contribute to business cases and provide input on pricing, packaging, launches, and product positioning.
  • Manage input from multiple stakeholders, build collaborative relationships, adapt communication to different audiences, and create alignment around commitments and deprioritized initiatives.
  • Coach colleagues by sharing product insights, providing constructive feedback, and critically examining assumptions.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with accounting software, enterprise resource planning systems, tax software, electronic invoicing, or financial workflows is a strong advantage.
  • Affinity with or experience in AI-supported advisory products is an advantage.
