About the job
- A successfully completed degree in agriculture or a comparable field.
- Several years of professional experience in organic farming and organic certification, particularly with Regulation (EU) 2018/848 and the National Organic Program (NOP).
- Very good German and English skills, spoken and written.
- Spanish skills are desirable, not required.
- Assess and certify agricultural production, processing, and trade.
- Review and assess control documentation from abroad for compliance with standards and completeness, and maintain the documentation continuously.
- Prepare evaluation reports, conformity assessments, and certificates.
- Communicate with international customers and international inspection personnel.
- Exchange specialist knowledge regularly and support international branches, with a focus on Latin America, Africa, and Southeast Asia.
- Spanish language skills.
