About the job
- Technical or professional higher-education training in Mechanics, Hydraulics, Industrial Maintenance, Electromechanics, or a related specialty.
- At least 2 years of demonstrable experience maintaining equipment at mining sites.
- Experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining hydraulic and electro-hydraulic systems.
- Knowledge of pumps, valves, hydraulic components, and metrology techniques.
- A current Class B driver's license.
- User-level proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Diagnose, maintain, repair, and replace equipment and components in electro-hydraulic systems on mobile units used in mining operations while complying with technical standards, work procedures, and safety regulations.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electro-hydraulic systems in mobile units.
- Repair, disassemble, assemble, and replace pumps, valves, and other hydraulic components.
- Apply metrology and dimensional-control techniques to verify component condition and operation.
- Identify faults and propose technical solutions that support equipment operational continuity.
- Conduct functional tests and verify that serviced systems operate correctly.
- Follow technical procedures, quality standards, and safety regulations applicable to mining sites.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team and promote effective communication and a safety culture.
- Experience maintaining mobile units and mining equipment.
