- Perform daily cycle counts of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods.
- Assist with weekly and monthly physical inventory audits.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and report findings to supervisors.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in inventory management systems.
- Verify lot numbers, expiration dates, and material labels.
- Ensure materials are properly identified with status labels: Quarantine, Released, and Rejected.
- Support lot traceability requirements for regulatory compliance.
- Ensure proper storage conditions are maintained for ingredients and packaging.
- Coordinate with Quality for material status changes.
- Assist in verifying incoming materials against purchase orders.
- Support staging and movement of materials to production areas.
- Record internal transfers between warehouse, production, and quality control areas.
- Maintain clean and organized warehouse storage areas.
- Ensure materials are stored in designated locations.
- Follow first-in, first-out and first-expired, first-out inventory practices.
- Complete inventory logs and documentation accurately.
- Follow standard operating procedures, safety procedures, and current good manufacturing practice requirements.
- Previous warehouse, inventory, or manufacturing experience.
- Exposure to dietary supplements, food, or pharmaceutical environments.
- Familiarity with inventory systems or enterprise resource planning software.
- Forklift or pallet jack experience.
