Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in software development using Ruby, NodeJS, Golang, or similar
  • 5+ years of experience in a Platform, SRE, or DevOps role using a Ruby/Kubernetes/AWS/Datadog stack or similar technologies
  • Experience in developing best practices and tooling for monitoring distributed systems and service-oriented applications
  • Proficiency with technologies such as Kubernetes, AWS, Ruby, Rails, MySql, Datadog, and Redis
  • Understanding of security and compliance when handling personal data
  • Effective communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders
Responsibilities
  • Build and improve the Observability Platform for engineers to understand service behavior in production environments
  • Ensure seamless communication between services, minimal downtime, and quick recovery
  • Collaborate on best practices for writing, maintaining, and running observable services
  • Work with product engineering teams to ensure high performance and observability
  • Champion observability best practices and educate team members
  • Test infrastructure changes thoroughly and communicate observability findings
