Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience (GED, HiSET) required
  • Evening availability required; typical shows run from 5:30pm - 12am
  • Occasional sitting, constant walking, climbing stairs
  • Must be able to carry 75 lbs. alone or up to 200+ lbs as a team
  • Must be comfortable working in a crowded environment with noise reaching 100 dBa, strobing lights and complete darkness
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Report writing and penmanship skills
  • Strong sense of punctuality and time management
  • Strong sense of teamwork and ability to execute tasks assigned by management and supervisors
  • Ability to perform duties in a professional manner and appearance

Responsibilities
  • Patrol among guests and/or employees to preserve safety, order and to protect venue property
  • Walk through the crowd to emphasize security presence within the building
  • Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, guests, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security and safety of the premises
  • Will write reports and/or contact logs of daily activities and irregularities such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual/problematic occurrences
  • Patrol premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates
  • Operate detecting devices to screen individuals and prevent passage of prohibited articles into the venue (CEIA OPENGATE systems, Garret Handheld Magnetometer Wants, Etc.)
  • Perform 1-1 screenings that may include pat-downs, visual screening and bag/personal item screening
  • Warn persons of rule infractions or violations
  • Apprehend and eject violators from premises
  • Assist venue staff with daily setup/breakdown tasks in the venue

Live Nation backs Creator Nation to acquire and grow creator management firms

Live Nation is launching Creator Nation, a new firm focused on managing and supporting creators in the digital economy. The venture will be led by co-founders Scott and Alexis Fisher, who previously founded management companies acquired by other entities. The company reported $26.3 billion in trailing twelve-month revenue and maintains a market capitalisation of $42.3 billion. Live Nation posts record Q2 with $7.7B revenue amid legal troubles and monopoly ruling

Live Nation reported second quarter revenue of $7.7 billion, up 9% year-over-year, with operating income of $522 million, up 7%. The company saw record quarterly performance for both Ticketmaster and concert attendance. Ticketmaster generated revenue of $852 million, up 15%, selling 90 million fee-bearing tickets, an 8% increase. Concert revenue grew 8% to $6.4 billion, with fan attendance reaching 49 million, up 10% and the highest second quarter on record. The results follow Live Nation's settlement with the Department of Justice, which included up to $280 million in payments. Live Nation Q2 earnings preview: revenue expected to grow 7.8% year on year

Analysts expect revenue growth of 7.8% year-on-year this quarter, down from 16.3% growth in the same period last year. Over the past 30 days, analysts have largely maintained their estimates. The company has missed Wall Street revenue forecasts multiple times over the past two years. Live Nation shares currently trade at $180.93, with an average analyst price target of $192.50. The stock price has remained flat over the past month. Peers AMC Entertainment and Delta recently reported quarterly results, with revenue growth of 14.2% and 18.7% respectively, both exceeding estimates.
