About the company

Atticus helps people who cannot work due to health issues obtain disability, workers' compensation, and VA benefits by providing initial consultations, case reviews, and matching clients with experienced lawyers. Clients receive fast, free advice at the advisory stage and are connected to attorneys who handle their claims; the firm earns referral fees when a case is taken on. Atticus differentiates itself with empathetic, one-on-one support and a strong lawyer-matching process aimed at improving outcomes in complex government and insurance processes. Its goal is to help people in crisis secure the financial aid they deserve and regain financial self-sufficiency.

Philly Daily Roundup: Student-Made College Cost App; Central High Is Robotics World Champ; Internet Subsidy Expiration Looms

Philly high schoolers develop college cost app. Finiverse aims to help high school students and their families calculate how much various colleges will actually cost them out of pocket and what their repayment plan options might be. The free app, which is a project out of the Stevens Center at Wharton, was designed by students themselves. Sindi Banaj and Maryem Bouatlaoui both started working on it as high school seniors and are still part of it as sophomores as Penn. They hope it becomes part of the toolbox for Philly School District admissions advisors.➡️ Read more about how Finiverse is helping teens understand the financial reality of collegeWill generative AI replace software developers?
