  • 8+ years of relevant proven industry experience; Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience deploying critical applications or solutions using industry-standard DevOps principles.
  • Experience coding with Python/Go.
  • Experience handling SaaS and/or On-prem applications for a large customer base.
  • Experience with one or more of the public cloud providers i.e. AWS, Azure or GCP.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and deploy software that will help drive improvements toward the availability, performance, efficiency, and security of Splunk’s services.
  • Work with cloud providers to integrate their networking products into our ecosystem.
  • Demonstrate technical leadership when building, monitoring and maintaining complex Cloud infrastructure solutions that work with Petabyte scale data.
  • Adopt and master new technologies that will help you automate routine tasks and free up time for innovation.
  • Debugging distributed systems like CDNs, Kubernetes infrastructure, databases, data replication, etc.
  • Routinely use continuous delivery, testing, and standard security practices.
  • Manage a product outage, identify performance bottlenecks, spot anomalous system behavior, and figure out the root cause of incidents.
