What believers are saying

  • Boeing selected Intellisense in May 2026 for a $400 million C-17 upgrade.
  • Air Force awarded $8.22 million in August 2026 for nuclear flash-blindness goggles.
  • Beacon partnership expands IWOS-M into Navy ships and active fleet deployment in 2026.

What critics are saying

  • Boeing and Air Force concentration exposes revenue to program cancellations and redesign delays.
  • Sole-source SBIR Phase III awards invite congressional scrutiny and pricing pressure.
  • Defense electronics obsolescence cycles demand constant qualification; one failed certification kills follow-on production.

What makes Intellisense Systems unique

  • MOSA-compliant avionics and sensors integrate across aircraft, weather, and naval platforms.
  • Sole-source SBIR Phase III wins from Air Force validate hard-to-replace niche hardware.
  • Torrance manufacturing unifies design, qualification, and production in one 80,000-square-foot facility.
