About the Job

Requirements

  • A Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with 8+ years of experience, or a Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of pre-silicon RTL design experience.
  • Proven ownership of complex RTL/IP development from micro-architecture definition through handoff to physical design.
  • Strong experience with ASIC low-power design methodologies, including Unified Power Format-based power intent and power-aware clock-domain crossing and reset-domain crossing.
  • In-depth knowledge of RTL design, logic synthesis, functional verification, and static timing analysis.
  • Proficiency in Verilog/SystemVerilog and industry-standard simulation and front-end tools.

Responsibilities

  • Own and drive RTL design for DRAM digital and mixed-signal IP from specification through silicon-ready signoff.
  • Architect and deliver high-performance, power- and area-efficient RTL designs aligned with product requirements.
  • Perform and sign off front-end quality checks, including lint, clock-domain crossing/reset-domain crossing, synthesis, Unified Power Format, and timing quality of results.
  • Collaborate closely with physical design, verification, and architecture teams to achieve timing closure and power, performance, and area goals.
  • Improve design quality and efficiency by refining methodologies, driving automation, and enhancing RTL design flows.

Desired Qualifications

  • Extensive background in DRAM or other memory compose architectures and development.
  • Deep knowledge of clock-domain crossing, reset-domain crossing, static timing analysis, and low-power techniques in advanced ASIC technology nodes.
  • Experience designing complex digital logic and/or mixed-signal-interfacing circuits.
  • Familiarity with CMOS digital and analog-integrated circuit concepts and their system-level impact.
  • The ability to influence multifunctional teams and provide technical leadership.
  • Experience with Agentic AI.

About the Company

Micron Technology

Makes memory and storage chips for AI and PCs

Micron Technology designs and manufactures memory and storage chips, mainly DRAM and NAND flash, used in data centers, PCs, phones, cars and industrial equipment. It is one of only three companies that make HBM, the stacked high-bandwidth memory placed beside processors in AI servers, and it is the largest memory chipmaker based in the United States. Unlike chip designers that outsource production, Micron runs its own fabs and assembly sites in the United States and across Asia. It earns money by selling chips, memory modules and solid-state drives to cloud providers, device makers and distributors. Micron was founded in 1978 and is headquartered in Boise, Idaho.
