  • A Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited school of nursing or related field is required.
  • The candidate must hold an unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the State of Georgia.
  • The candidate must have two years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse.
  • The candidate must have two years of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse in the clinical specialty.
  • The candidate must hold American Heart Association Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
  • The candidate must meet visual color acuity requirements depending on the role in specific units.
Responsibilities
  • Function as a unit-based clinical resource and educator.
  • Support staff development, orientation and onboarding, competency, patient education, and quality improvement.
  • Support established standards of care and practice through training, staff development, clinical improvement activities, and patient and staff education.
  • Serve as a role model of clinical excellence in nursing knowledge and clinical practice.
Desired Qualifications
  • An additional life support credential such as Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, or Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification, or another clinical specialty certification, is preferred for specific units.
