About the job

Requirements
  • Eight to twelve or more years of experience in supply chain consulting, professional services, or SaaS delivery, with hands-on expertise in at least one of the two domain tracks.
  • A portfolio of complex, enterprise-grade supply chain solutions personally architected and delivered.
  • Practical knowledge of at least one core discipline: Network Optimization, S&OP, Demand Planning, Inventory Management, or Production Scheduling, and fluency in the mathematical models that power them.
  • Proficiency in Python and/or SQL, including writing, debugging, and optimizing data transformation and modeling logic for supply chain planning.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to C-suite audiences and translate ambiguous business requirements into precise technical architecture.
  • Working knowledge of either Modeling & Scenario Analysis or Planning & Execution.
  • Experience with legacy planning tools such as SAP IBP, Kinaxis, o9, or Blue Yonder is a differentiator.
  • Ability to use AI tools in delivery workflows, including LLM-assisted modeling, prompt engineering, and AI-generated documentation, is a differentiator.
Responsibilities
  • Own customer implementations from discovery through go-live, leading blueprinting sessions, technical design workshops, and build-in-public working sessions with customer stakeholders to turn supply chain problems into logic and model structures.
  • Translate supply chain constraints, including network trade-offs, demand volatility, inventory risk, and fulfillment complexity, into composable solutions using the Lyric platform stack: Optimization Notes, Prediction Notes, Green Notes, and Next Gen App UIs.
  • Write SQL and Python, configure business logic, and rapidly prototype working models from customer pain points; troubleshoot edge cases, validate outputs, and maintain the technical integrity of deployed solutions.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering when platform capabilities need to be extended, providing field insight into platform limitations and their impact.
  • Mentor junior engineers, convert recurring field challenges into reusable design patterns and accelerators, and document each project with a customer story, quantified outcomes, and a short demonstration.
  • Provide field feedback to Product and Engineering that informs future product development.
  • Apply AI tools across engagements, including LLM-assisted coding, automated documentation, and ML-powered workflows, to accelerate delivery and support autonomous decision-making.
  • Experiment with AI/ML capabilities such as probabilistic forecasting, anomaly detection, and AI-assisted planning, and embed them into customer operations.
  • Architect supply chain digital twins and use Network Optimization and Simulation capabilities to deliver network redesign, RCCP, production sequencing, vessel scheduling, and capacity expansion solutions.
  • Develop modeling and scenario-analysis solutions, including probabilistic simulations, resilience mapping, and sustainability optimization that incorporates carbon and ESG constraints.
  • Deploy planning and execution capabilities, including Optimal Stock Targets and the Supply Planning Optimizer, to connect planning workflows and operational execution.
  • Develop or implement planning solutions such as AI-assisted demand sensing, dynamic inventory rebalancing across multi-echelon networks, and anomaly detection that proposes corrective actions based on cost and service trade-offs.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with legacy planning tools such as SAP IBP, Kinaxis, o9, or Blue Yonder.
  • A problem-solving approach that identifies the underlying customer need behind feature requests and designs for outcomes.
  • Routine integration of AI tools into delivery workflows, including LLM-assisted modeling, prompt engineering, and AI-generated documentation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-moving, lean environment where the playbook is still being developed.
