  • 10+ years of directly relevant experience in a product and/or business strategy capacity at a media or technology company, and/or background in consulting
  • A history of analyzing international markets and leveraging data insights to inform strategic decisions, identify growth opportunities, and drive impactful business outcomes
  • Experience launching large scale entertainment / content products or businesses in multiple territories over a short period of time (launch of a subscription product a plus)
  • Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional project management for highly complex launches involving engineering and product organizations without direct authority over resources
  • Prior success owning post-launch scaling of a business to meet or exceed key operating metrics by collaborating with analytics, marketing, merchandising, and product teams
  • A strong track record of building and maintaining relationships with the largest global entertainment brands, fostering collaboration, resolving conflicts, and uncovering opportunities for mutual growth
  • The ability to work in high pressure, results driven environments with lean teams (startup experience is a plus)
  • Deep understanding of digital media space and OTT business models, specifically SVOD
Responsibilities
  • Lead Premium Subscriptions International including the planning and execution of Premium Subscription’s market entry strategies across new international territories, ensuring alignment with Roku’s global objectives
  • Own all business aspects of the launch process, including selecting and onboarding content partners, aligning with product on the MVP launch experience, coordinating with marketing and merchandising on the launch campaign, and ensuring overall operational readiness across payments, business operations, and reporting
  • Drive ongoing business scale by establishing and optimizing ongoing business operations, including customer support, subscription performance tracking, and partnerships, to ensure sustainable growth in each market
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as product, marketing, merchandising, legal, finance, content distribution, partner growth, and business operations to align resources and execute strategies effectively
  • Serve as for lead for all Premium Subscriptions International businesses providing regular updates to executive leadership on the growth trajectory and performance. Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for market launches and ongoing operations, leveraging data-driven insights to refine strategies and meet business objectives
