  • Strong background in research methods and early-stage concept testing
  • Experience in designing for growth and monetization in mobile products

  • Experience shipping end-to-end experiences across web and mobile
  • Ability to express desired UX metrics and create a plan to evaluate them
  • High degree of visual polish in UI design

  • Experience balancing speed and quality in design
  • Demonstrated sense of ownership and accountability

  • 3-5 years of experience in product design in a consumer-grade mobile environment
  • Background in Business/Marketing is a plus
  • Significant experience leading customer discovery and user research efforts
  • Formal education in user experience design
  • Proficiency in Figma best practices
Responsibilities
  • Partnering with engineers, product managers, and other designers to shape the Homebase roadmap
  • Defining how offerings work together from a pixel perspective and through a workflow, information architecture, and interaction design lens
  • Taking a leadership role in design critique and creating the long-term vision for the Homebase Design Team
  • Designing for customer goals, motivations, and behaviors to increase user base
  • Creating end-to-end experiences across web and mobile
  • Expressing desired UX metrics and evaluating them
  • Articulating design choices to peers and stakeholders
  • Balancing speed and quality in design
  • Demonstrating ownership and accountability for team's work and outcomes
  • Leading customer discovery and user research efforts
