8th International Symposium Frontiers in Polymer Science. Prof. Haritz Sardon and Dr. Xabi Lopez de Pariza recently participated in the Elsevier event, the Eighth International Symposium Frontiers in Polymer Science, held in Chengdu, China, from 11 to 14 June 2026. Haritz Sardon Lab is delighted to announce that both researchers received prestigious recognition for their outstanding contributions. Prof. Sardon was awarded for his invited lecture, From Recycling Legacy Plastics to Designing Functional Plastics with Circularity, presented on Friday, 12 June. Dr. Lopez de Priza received the Best Poster Award for his presentation entitled Standardizing Light: A Modular Photoreactor for Controlled, Reproducible and High-Throughput Photochemical Reactions. Congratulations to both on these well-deserved achievements, and Haritz Sardon Lab wish them continued success in their research endeavors!

As one of the core metrics for measuring journal academic impact in the international academic community, the annual update of CiteScore objectively reflects the academic dissemination capability and disciplinary development level of journals in recent years. This year, a total of 5 Open Exploration journals indexed in Scopus have demonstrated outstanding performance, with multiple indicators showing upward trends. Among them, Exploration of Medicine (EM) and Exploration of Targeted Anti-tumor Therapy (ETAT) both ranked in the Q2 quartile in their respective disciplines. EM has achieved significant improvements in both score and ranking, while ETAT has entered the Q2 quartile in oncology for the first time, achieving an annual increase of 74.19% in its score, rising to 5.4. Exploration of Immunology (EI) and Exploration of Neuroprotective Therapy (ENT) have both maintained consecutive year-over-year growth, demonstrating their development potential in their respective fields. The newly indexed journal Exploration of Foods and Foodomics (EFF) has received its first CiteScore of 2.4, marking a significant milestone. While Colorado is working to broaden its history, the federal government is working to narrow it. Panelists Jason Hanson, chief creative officer and director of interpretation & research at History Colorado, and Annie Levinsky, vice president of History Colorado, will explore Colorado's history and the current "heritage audit" going on at History Colorado. Jason Hanson, chief creative officer and director of interpretation & research at History Colorado. Hanson has worked for History Colorado since 2016, serving as the chief creative officer of interpretation and research, as well as the deputy state historian. In his role, he works closely with the Colorado State Historian's Council as the deputy state historian, and is a member of the state's American 250-Colorado 150 Commission. Previously, Hanson has served as research faculty for the University of Colorado's Center of the American West in Boulder, and a production editor for Elsevier Publishing.
