Requirements
  • 6–8+ years of experience in B2B marketing, trade marketing, integrated marketing, events, experiential marketing, digital marketing or marketing communications, preferably within a media organization, publisher, agency, technology company, financial services organization or related industry.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and executing integrated B2B marketing programs across digital channels and live experiences.
  • Strong hands-on experience across organic social media and email marketing, including strategy, editorial and campaign planning, content development, publishing/deployment, segmentation, testing, optimization and performance measurement.
  • Proven experience planning and executing high-profile events, executive experiences, industry activations or client programs, including budgets, vendors, production, timelines and guest experience.
  • Excellent writing, editing and messaging skills, with the ability to translate sophisticated ideas, data and business propositions into compelling marketing communications.
  • Strong analytical, project management and organizational skills, with experience using performance data to inform decisions while managing multiple global and regional priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment, build trusted relationships and collaborate effectively with senior executives, clients, internal stakeholders and external partners across a global, matrixed organization.
  • Experience managing budgets, contracts, event registration platforms, marketing technology, social publishing tools, email platforms and analytics tools.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace and AI-enabled marketing and productivity tools.
  • A proactive and solutions-oriented approach, with the confidence to identify opportunities, recommend new approaches and continuously improve programs, channels and experiences.
Responsibilities
  • Own Bloomberg Media's trade marketing social media and email marketing programs, including strategy, content planning, publishing/deployment, audience segmentation, testing, performance and optimization.
  • Develop and maintain an integrated trade marketing content calendar aligned with global and regional priorities, campaigns, research, partnerships, events and key industry moments.
  • Develop and execute compelling B2B content and integrated campaigns across social, email, thought leadership, partnerships and events for marketers and agencies.
  • Establish key performance indicators and use performance insights to continually improve content, audience engagement and channel effectiveness.
  • Support planning and execution of Bloomberg Media's trade marketing events, executive experiences and industry activations in partnership with the Global Head and regional Heads of Trade Marketing.
  • Oversee select events end to end, including strategy, audience development, budgets, production, vendors, registration, communications, guest experience and on-site execution.
  • Support Bloomberg Media's presence at key industry moments through sponsorships, partnerships, hosted experiences, hospitality, executive engagement and client programming.
  • Partner with Sales and Integrated Marketing on audience strategy, client engagement and event marketing.
  • Manage event partners, budgets, timelines and post-event measurement using insights and feedback to improve the portfolio and guest experience.
  • Develop performance frameworks across marketing channels, campaigns and live experiences using data, audience insights and stakeholder feedback to optimize programs.
  • Identify and adopt new platforms, technologies and AI-enabled tools that improve audience targeting, personalization, content development, workflows, event experiences and analytics.
  • Manage multiple concurrent initiatives, budgets, timelines, agencies, vendors and resources while maintaining a high standard of execution.

Bloomberg promotes internally for EMEA buy-side fixed income electronic trading sales head. Individual steps into role after 12 years in several sales-based positions at the firm; has previously worked at MUFG and JP Morgan. Caroline Francillette has stepped up as EMEA head of buy-side fixed income electronic trading sales at Bloomberg, marking an extension of her ongoing 12-year tenure at the firm. London-based Francillette initially joined Bloomberg in 2014, and during her time at the firm has worked across various sales-related roles, most recently as a regional sales manager for France, BeLux, Geneva and Monaco. Prior to this, she spent more than three years at Japanese bank MUFG, where she worked in a position covering credit sales. Earlier in her career, Francillette spent four years at JP Morgan. Bloomberg had not responded to a request for comment at the time of publication. Most recently, Bloomberg named Arif Merali as the firm's new global head of rates electronic trading. The appointment followed a five-year stint at the Bank of England, where Merali served as a senior advisor, providing technical advice and policy support to the bank's executive director of markets, as well as the wider markets directorate.
