About the Job

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Professional experience in software engineering using Java or Kotlin.
  • Experience designing and developing distributed systems.
  • Experience with technologies such as Redis, Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar.
  • Experience with relational and non-relational databases.
  • Advanced English proficiency at C1 level.

Responsibilities

  • Write high-quality, well-documented, efficient, tested, and maintainable code.
  • Ensure and improve application observability and monitoring.
  • Enhance other team members’ technical skills, coding standards, and overall code quality.
  • Learn new programming languages when needed.
  • Improve the security, performance, and stability of applications.
  • Conduct and receive high-quality code reviews.
  • Provide technical guidance by contributing to informed, objective, and simple solution discussions.
  • Propose architectural solutions, collaborating with and mentoring team members to meet functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Estimate and plan deliverable timelines with stakeholders and the product team.
  • Leverage existing company solutions to align with global platforms.
  • Work with loosely defined or ambiguous requirements to shape better solutions alongside product and team members.
  • Build incremental solutions with the product team to promote continuous improvement and delivery.
  • Deliver well-tested and automated features, including end-to-end tests, to ensure application stability.
  • Monitor and respond to production incidents.
  • Lead projects and ensure delivery within estimated timelines.
  • Help team members grow technically by serving as a role model.
  • Participate in hiring processes for engineers at the same or lower levels.
