Requirements
  • A Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • Four to seven years of experience in solution architecture, cloud architecture, or a senior engineering role with significant design responsibilities.
  • Deep expertise in at least two of the following technology ecosystems: AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Databricks, OpenAI, Anthropic, or NVIDIA.
  • Strong command of cloud architecture patterns, including networking, security, compute, storage, and managed artificial intelligence and machine learning services.
  • Solid understanding of classical machine learning, deep learning, generative artificial intelligence, autonomous agents, and data engineering.
  • Proven ability to engage with senior client stakeholders, including CIOs, CISOs, and Vice Presidents of Engineering, and translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Fluency in French and professional proficiency in English.
  • Ability to make sound architectural trade-offs under uncertainty.
Responsibilities
  • Define and own the end-to-end technical architecture for data and artificial intelligence projects, covering cloud infrastructure, data pipelines, machine learning and deep learning model serving, generative artificial intelligence applications, and agent-based systems.
  • Act as the primary technical point of contact for client stakeholders and align architectural decisions with business objectives, security policies, and regulatory requirements including the General Data Protection Regulation and European Union Artificial Intelligence Act.
  • Lead architecture reviews, design sessions, and technical governance forums across workstreams.
  • Remove technical impediments for engineering teams and provide hands-on guidance when needed.
  • Oversee the full project lifecycle from advisory and assessments through proof of concept or minimum viable product prototyping to full-scale production deployment.
  • Ensure solutions are production-ready by addressing scalability, reliability, observability, and cost optimization.
  • Support business development through technical scoping, architecture proposals, and effort estimations during the sales cycle.
  • Participate in client presentations and workshops to demonstrate technical capabilities and build trust.
  • Identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts by surfacing new use cases and technical needs.
  • Mentor junior consultants and engineers in architectural thinking and client-facing skills.
  • Contribute to internal intellectual property, accelerators, and reference architectures leveraging frontier technological developments.
  • Stay current on cloud services, artificial intelligence frameworks, and industry best practices.
Desired Qualifications
  • Hands-on coding ability in Python, Terraform or infrastructure as code, or similar technologies for prototyping and technical validation.
  • Experience with machine learning operations or large language model operations tooling and production deployment pipelines.
  • Professional-level certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect, or Databricks Professional Data Engineer.
  • Experience in management consulting or client-facing delivery environments.
  • Familiarity with artificial intelligence compliance frameworks and responsible artificial intelligence practices.

Sia acquires Kaiser Associates to launch global corporate strategy and M&A business line

Sia, a global management consulting group, has acquired Kaiser Associates, a US-based strategy consulting firm, to launch a dedicated Corporate Strategy, Private Equity and M&A business line spanning the US, UK, France, Middle East and Australia. Founded in 1981, Kaiser Associates brings 65 consultants and operates from Washington, D.C., New York and London. The firm specialises in go-to-market strategy, growth assessments and market landscaping for Fortune 500 executives and private equity funds. Kaiser Associates' leadership team, including Ali Cumber, Paul Mumma and Jon Meyerholz, will join Sia as partners, with Meyerholz heading the new business line as managing partner. The acquisition expands Sia's North American presence and strengthens its position in private equity advisory.
