Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Construction, Business, or another related field, or a two-year technical degree from a construction program, or at least two years of experience with a homebuilder is preferred.
  • The candidate must be highly customer-service oriented.
  • The candidate must be literate with computers or tablets.
  • The candidate must have a vehicle capable of carrying supplies and a valid driver's license.
  • The candidate must be willing to drive among designated communities during daytime and nighttime.
  • The candidate must be able to stand and walk for four hours continuously or up to a full eight-hour day, sit for extended periods, kneel, bend at the waist, climb, balance, stoop, crouch or crawl, walk up and down stairs, walk on uneven terrain, use their hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with their hands and arms, talk, and hear.
  • The candidate must be able to lift or move up to 50 pounds.
  • The candidate must have close, distance, color, and peripheral vision.
  • The candidate must be reliable, energetic, and trusted by homeowners and the service team to ensure calls are completed accurately and on time.
  • The candidate must be able to multitask and possess effective communication skills.
Responsibilities
  • Perform minor repairs such as tightening door knobs or adjusting sprinklers.
  • Conduct in-person homeowner assessments and inspections of warranty claims.
  • Coordinate and schedule repairs with contractors and homeowners.
  • Communicate scheduled appointment times with homeowners, vendors, and trades.
  • Follow up on repairs, inspect them, and ensure their completion.
  • Manage trades through completion of service requests to the homeowner's satisfaction and determine trade accountability for back-charge purposes.
  • Instruct customers on home maintenance and communicate which items are and are not warrantable.
  • Manage a budget, request EPOs, and sign vendor invoices weekly for payment.
  • Handle multiple tasks and projects within designated timeframes.
  • Decline non-warrantable requests and overcome objections professionally.
  • Follow applicable workflow protocols and processes.
  • File and manage closed tickets for bonus and accounting purposes.
  • Establish and maintain positive customer relationships internally and externally.
  • Conduct a quality-assurance check on a completed home.
Desired Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office or BuildPro.
  • Previous experience in the homebuilding industry.
  • Previous experience in a customer-service environment and some home-repair experience.
