Responsibilities
  • Scheduling Sales Orders based upon customers’ requested ship dates as well as factory and supplier constraints.
  • Creating and monitoring Production Orders to drive the factory.
  • Creating and executing Purchase Orders to drive work at contract manufacturers.
  • Coordinating production workflow for multiple products.
  • Working closely with Inventory Control personnel to research inventory errors and ensure that material transactions are done accurately.
  • Managing and planning to sales forecast.
  • Monitoring part structures (BoMs and Routes) for errors and initiating corrections.
  • Monitoring and finessing item planning attributes such as minimum inventory levels.
  • Determining raw materials needed to cover production demand.
  • Escalating issues that threaten adherence to schedule dates.
  • Providing detailed delivery status to Global Sales Support personnel.
  • Summarizing and reporting adherence to committed dates.
