In this role you will:

Be responsible for developing the overall strategic business development and sales plan to monetize Qualcomm’s comprehensive portfolio in one of the key Global Hyperscaler Accounts – Microsoft, Google, Facebook and/or Amazon

• Evangelize Qualcomm’s solutions to these strategic customers through viable business strategies and commercialization plans
• Lead business development strategies and establish key strategic partnerships to enhance revenues
• Responsible for fostering strategic initiatives and expanding new business opportunities across these Global Strategic Accounts by evangelizing use cases like 5G and AI.

Your charter will also include:

• Fostering key executive relationships and working closely with global strategic customers to establish Qualcomm as a sustained leader in the market
• Comprehensive understanding of Qualcomm’s portfolio and technology to drive long-term strategic alignment with key partners
• Working closely with and influencing internal executives, cross-functional teams and key stakeholders to facilitate and gain support for long term plans based on achievement of business and financial goals and milestones
• Executing and growing new revenue generating business opportunities; Maintaining sales pipeline, provide monthly forecasts and support internal operational and financial planning processes
• Managing the customer design business cycle from cradle to grave; NDAs, License agreements, Salesforce, Development tools, Customer support and issue resolution, Forecasting, Pricing strategy, Customer service, Production and EOL management

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field of study.
• Fifteen (15) years of experience in business development and / or strategic sales of technology products specifically to large scale companies operating in the areas of Datacenter and wireless infrastructure, Consumer electronics (Mobile, PC, Wearables, AR/VR, Gaming etc.), Automotive / Autonomous Driving, IoT, Apps ecosystem (Maps, Audio-Video streaming, E-commerce, Payments, Social Media), etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

• MBA or master’s degree in engineering.
• Twenty (20) years of experience in business development and / or strategic sales of technology products specifically to large scale companies operating in the areas of Datacenter and wireless infrastructure, Consumer electronics (Mobile, PC, Wearables, AR/VR, Gaming etc.), Automotive / Autonomous Driving, IoT, Apps ecosystem (Maps, Audio-Video streaming, E-commerce, Payments, Social Media), etc.
• Experience in business development and / or strategic sales of technology products specifically to key Global Strategic accounts – Microsoft, Google, Facebook and/or Amazon.
• Technical expertise in one or more areas of the following areas – Datacenter and wireless infrastructure, Consumer electronics (Mobile, PC, Wearables, AR/VR, Gaming etc.), Automotive / Autonomous Driving, IoT, Apps ecosystem (Maps, Audio-Video streaming, E-commerce, Payments, Social media), etc.
• Strategic Key Account Management Expertise, ability to build and nurture executive level customer relationships & influence.
• Business and financial expertise to build long term business cases with clear ROI.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally.

Decision Making: The ability to make quick, accurate decisions. This includes the ability to weigh alternatives and take into account the impact of the decisions on people, equipment, or other resources.

Getting Work Done: The ability to be organized, resourceful, and planful. This includes the ability to leverage multiple resources to get things done and lay out tasks in sufficient detail. This also includes the ability to get things done with fewer resources and in less time, work on multiple tasks at once without losing track, and foresee and plan around obstacles.

Technical Knowledge: Knowledge of program management methodology (e.g., planning, scheduling, tracking, execution). This includes the ability to effectively use program management tools to carry out the program management function.

Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits:

$288,600.00 - $432,800.00

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted.
