Responsibilities
Conduct educational needs assessments for clinical units along with developing and implementing educational plans to meet hospital-wide and unit-specific clinical and patient education goals
Deliver training and education for nurses and clinical staff and coordinating and leading patient education initiatives as determined by needs assessments
Works collaboratively with patient care staff to identify and address care standard issues
Provides leadership on Joint Commission and regulatory compliance relative to education
Performs other duties as assigned
