Requirements
  • A Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information clearance with a full-scope polygraph is required.
  • Seven years of experience as a software engineer on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university is required; four additional years of comparable software engineering experience may substitute for the degree.
  • Experience with Linux system administration, including CentOS 7 and Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.
  • Experience with Docker.
  • Experience with Python scripting.
  • Experience with AWS, C2S, or another cloud platform.
  • Experience with GitLab Pipeline.
  • Experience with Ansible Pipeline.
  • Experience with NiFi.
Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance complex and diverse software systems based on documented requirements.
  • Work individually or as part of a team.
  • Review and test software components for adherence to design requirements and document test results.
  • Resolve software problem reports.
  • Use software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment.
  • Provide input to system design, including hardware/software tradeoffs, software reuse, use of commercial off-the-shelf and government off-the-shelf products, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components.
  • Develop capabilities that automate system security evaluation and authorization processes, streamline processes and approvals, support continuous monitoring and assessment, and gather network data across the project life cycle.
  • Facilitate infrastructure management, continuous integration, environment configuration, and deployment.
  • Support the project's compliance and security posture.
  • Deliver automation that enables other teams to operate smoothly.
