  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • At least 7 years of experience in design project management is required, preferably in pharmaceutical or biotechnology facility design.
  • Strong understanding of good manufacturing practices, cleanroom design, and regulatory environments is required.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously is required.
  • Proficiency in design software including Bluebeam and Navisworks, as well as project management platforms, is required.
Responsibilities
  • Manage the design phase of complex facility projects from concept through construction documentation, ensuring alignment with client goals, regulatory requirements, and CRB quality standards.
  • Serve as the primary design liaison with clients, facilitate clear communication, manage expectations, and ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Lead and coordinate internal design teams, including architects, engineers, and consultants, and external partners to deliver integrated solutions on schedule and within budget.
  • Define project scope, develop design budgets, and monitor progress to ensure financial and operational targets are met.
  • Ensure designs meet applicable codes, standards, and industry regulations, including good manufacturing practices, Food and Drug Administration requirements, and European Union Annex 1 requirements.
  • Promote cutting-edge technologies and sustainable design practices, including computational fluid dynamics modeling, energy-efficient systems, and modular construction strategies.
  • Identify design risks early and implement mitigation strategies to avoid delays or cost overruns.
Desired Qualifications

  • Familiarity with progressive contracting and integrated project delivery models.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology facility design.
