Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with project management personnel at the Project Management Office and college sites to develop and prepare procurement packages for selecting general contractors and professional services providers.
  • Manage competitive bidding and selection processes for construction and professional services from planning through award, including preparing procurement documents, addenda, evaluation materials, approval documentation, award documentation, and contract documents.
  • Manage pre-qualification processes for professional and construction services firms, including architectural, environmental, and small construction services.
  • Prepare Request for Qualifications packages with subject matter experts.
  • Lead pre-submittal instruction meetings.
  • Coordinate Requests for Clarifications and issue addenda.
  • Conduct responsiveness reviews of submitted Statements of Qualifications.
  • Coordinate and facilitate the evaluation process.
  • Coordinate post-award submittals.
  • Coordinate Board of Trustees award activities.
  • Prepare awarded contracts and coordinate their execution.
  • Adhere to policies, procedures, templates, and applicable laws.
  • Report, track, and perform quality control for assigned procurement processes.
  • Manage multiple concurrent procurement processes with various stakeholders.
Desired Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree, preferably in a relevant field.
  • Experience with program or project management.
  • Knowledge of relevant California higher education and Public Contract Code requirements.
  • Experience with electronic bidding software.
  • Experience with project management software.
