Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree and two years of supervisor experience in an automotive or manufacturing environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent written and oral communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proven computer skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with employees at all levels.
  • Strong organizational, teamwork, and leadership skills.
  • A sound technical aptitude with a thorough understanding of stamping, automation, and manufacturing applications.
Responsibilities
  • Support production staff in achieving quality, cost, delivery, and safety goals by communicating expectations, planning, monitoring, and evaluating job results.
  • Monitor equipment functionality and verify that poka-yokes are working correctly; immediately report defective, bypassed, or unsafe operations.
  • Understand all aspects of exhaust production processes to train operators and leaders.
  • Lead, train, mentor, and evaluate the performance of production staff.
  • Analyze staffing requirements and ensure efficient compliance with production schedules and budgets for all production processes.
  • Develop, recommend, and implement measures to improve production methods, equipment performance and maintenance, and product quality.
  • Manage production-floor activities and ensure compliance with company procedures and policies.
  • Lead and participate in 5S, quality, safety, delivery, cost, Kaizen, and lean manufacturing activities.
  • Perform other duties and projects assigned based on the company's operational objectives.
