What believers are saying

  • Remote engineering is available: one Armstrong application-specialist listing labels the position remote.
  • Engineers collaborate across disciplines: Armstrong's Toronto controls-lead posting joins electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and embedded-software specialists.
  • Production reaches multiple regions: Armstrong operates manufacturing facilities on four continents.

What critics are saying

  • Efficiency depends on installation quality: Armstrong identifies poor commissioning as a source of lost system performance.
  • Remote work includes site visits: Armstrong's application-engineer posting requires customer meetings and field walk-throughs.
  • Repeatability shapes controls work: Armstrong's Canadian lead-engineer role requires versioned software baselines and formal change control.

What makes Armstrong Fluid Technology unique

  • Pump control works without remote sensors: Armstrong embeds Sensorless speed control in its Design Envelope range.
  • Customer selection starts in software: Armstrong supplies free ADEPT tools for sizing equipment and preparing project documentation.
  • Monitoring continues after installation: Armstrong sells Pump Manager as a cloud-based performance tracking service.
