Omeros creates medicines targeting the body’s complement system, using both small-molecule drugs and monoclonal antibodies. Its lead product narsoplimab (Yartemlea) is a monoclonal antibody that inhibits MASP-2, and it was approved by the FDA in December 2025 for transplant-associated thrombotic microangiopathy (TA-TMA). The pipeline includes OMS906, an inhibitor of complement factor D, studied for complement-mediated diseases such as paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria. The goal is to deliver safe, effective therapies for complement-driven diseases and grow its portfolio beyond narsoplimab by pursuing additional targets.
