Requirements
  • An MD or MD/PhD degree.
  • Experience at the Associate Professor or Professor level.
  • A license to practice medicine in Oregon.
  • Board certification in Internal Medicine.
  • Board eligibility or certification in Hematology and/or Medical Oncology.
Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive outpatient and inpatient care for patients undergoing blood and marrow transplantation and cellular therapies.
  • Manage the care of patients receiving allogeneic and autologous hematopoietic cell transplants.
  • Care for patients receiving immune effector cell therapies, including CAR T-cell therapy and other cellular immunotherapies.
  • Participate in shared on-call coverage for the transplant and cellular therapy service.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams through case conferences and coordinated care planning to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Participate in the education and training of fellows, house staff, medical students, and advanced practice providers.
  • Coordinate and lead teaching rounds on inpatient and outpatient services.
  • Participate in the development, implementation, and conduct of clinical trials.
  • Collaborate with clinical research, data management, and registry teams to support research initiatives and regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to scholarly activities that advance blood and marrow transplantation and cellular therapy.
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with referring physicians, healthcare organizations, and community partners.
  • Support programmatic growth and excellence within the Adult Blood & Marrow Transplant & Cellular Therapy Programs.
  • Contribute to departmental, divisional, and institutional initiatives in support of OHSU's mission.

  • Proven success collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
  • A history of success obtaining extramural funds for clinical trials and/or basic science research.
