Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment of data scientists/engineers to meet aggressive goals and high-quality standards.

The Role: Xylem is seeking candidates with a Machine Learning / Engineering background to join our team as a Senior AI Edge Engineer. As a member of our Data Science team, the candidate will design, develop and test data-driven applications that leverage our electric metering infrastructure for innovative electric utility applications. Familiarity with embedded systems and circuit theory are highly desirable, as our devices live on the edge and derive insights from electrical measurements. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to succeed in a fast paced, fluid environment while ensuring that project initiatives are met.

Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities:

Ability to build robust software at cloud scale & embedded scale

Minimum Qualifications: Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities, License/Certification:

SALARY: The estimated salary range for this position is $100,000 to $130,000 plus bonus. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range. At Xylem we offer a competitive compensation package with a generous benefit package, including Medical, Dental, Vision plans, 401(k) with company contribution, paid time off, paid parental leave and tuition reimbursement.
