  • Proficiency with multiple types of camera equipment, comfortable shooting on everything from iPhone to DSLR, proficient with lighting setups, and post-production software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
  • A strong creative vision and the ability to translate concepts into visually compelling video content.
  • Demonstrated ability to assume leadership responsibilities, including overseeing production teams, providing direction and guidance to crew members, and ensuring the successful execution of projects.
  • Appreciation for the importance of a clear chain-of-command within a production environment, including the ability to take direction from higher-ups while also effectively delegating tasks and responsibilities to team members.
  • A portfolio showcasing previous work demonstrating proficiency in cinematography and storytelling.
  • Strong communication skills are important for this role, as you’ll be working across various teams and Story Producers.
  • Maintain a keen eye for detail and unleash your artistic prowess to ensure that all aspects of the production process, from camera settings to post-production editing, meet our quality standards.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • 5+ years of previous experience as a cinematographer or similar role.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the production of video content from concept to completion, including pre-production planning, on-set direction, and post-production editing.
  • Utilize advanced camera techniques and equipment to capture high-quality footage that meets the standards of our brand and resonates with our target audience.
  • Ensure proper lighting and composition to enhance the visual appeal of each shot and effectively convey the desired message.
  • Work closely with the creative team to develop concepts and storyboards that align with our marketing objectives and brand identity.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in cinematography technology and techniques, and apply this knowledge to continuously improve the quality of our video content.
