Requirements
  • MD or DO
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Interventional Radiology or Diagnostic Radiology with Interventional Radiology training (IR/DR)
  • Ability to obtain an Illinois medical license
Responsibilities
  • Full spectrum of common and high-end interventional procedures
  • Established and rapidly growing Interventional Radiology program with strong institutional investment and support
  • Options for 100% Interventional Radiology or Interventional Radiology/Diagnostic Radiology with participation in diagnostic imaging for premium compensation
  • Strong procedural team with experienced interventional radiology nurses, schedulers, and technical staff
  • Collaborative staff performing case preparation, chart preparation, scheduling, and lab review
  • Efficient workflow that allows providers to move seamlessly between cases allowing for extremely low intraprocedural down times
  • Advanced technology environment including AI-supported diagnostic imaging tools and MIMs dosimetry
  • Multiple IR rooms and exceptional CT and ultrasound availability with full technical support
  • Plans for future IR clinic development and expanded service space and expanded ancillary staff
  • Collaborative environment within UW Health, providing access to specialty colleagues and a strong regional referral base
  • 1:4 exclusive IR-only call
Desired Qualifications
  • Full interventional radiology skill set preferred; mentorship and procedural proctoring available for select procedures
