Requirements
  • A four-year degree is required; work experience in lieu of the degree will be considered.
  • Zero to four or more years of proven experience working with financial services advisors or money managers.
  • Relationship-building skills and the ability to thrive in a team environment are required.
  • A keen interest in and understanding of investment products and financial instruments such as equities and fixed income are required.
  • Established written, oral, and auditory communication skills are required for internal and external communication.

Responsibilities
  • Support the maintenance of existing client accounts.
  • Assist with team projects and initiatives.
  • Establish familiarity with internal systems to respond to client requests involving asset values, status updates, tax efficiency, account performance, and related information.
  • Support the coordination of responses to client requests by liaising with internal teams and using internal resources for information, paperwork, and transition analyses.
  • Support the termination of client accounts as requested.
  • Establish working relationships with Distribution and other internal teams on existing client relationships.
  • Establish working relationships with external contacts for new accounts and activity for existing clients.
  • Gain proficiency and understanding of channel guides and team policies and procedures to mitigate risk.
  • Assist with coverage when team members are absent and cross-train to ensure coverage.
  • Support the provision and refreshing of portfolio analyses with existing clients.
Desired Qualifications
  • Introductory experience with registered investment advisors, the Family Office community, separate accounts, unified managed accounts, tax-efficient products, and/or indexes.
  • A four-year degree in a related discipline such as economics, finance, marketing, or hospitality is preferred.

Fortis prices $1B subordinated notes due 2057 with 6.625% and 6.875% coupons to refinance debt

Fortis Inc. announced on 9 September 2026 the pricing of a $1 billion public offering of junior subordinated notes maturing 30 March 2057. The issuance comprises two $500 million tranches with coupon rates of 6.625% and 6.875%. The St. John's, Newfoundland-based regulated electric and gas utility holding company plans to use net proceeds to repay maturing debt and support general corporate purposes. Closing is expected on 21 September 2026. The firm commitment offering is managed by a syndicate including Morgan Stanley, MUFG Securities Americas, Wells Fargo Securities, and BofA Securities as joint bookrunners. Fortis reported $12 billion in revenues in 2025 and held $79 billion in total assets as of 30 June 2026.

Ameren prices $900M junior subordinated notes offering due 2057

Ameren Corporation announced the pricing of a public offering of $900 million in junior subordinated notes due 2057 at 100% of their principal amount. The transaction is expected to close on 18 September 2026. The notes will bear interest at an annual rate of 6.45% from issuance until 15 March 2032. After that date, the rate will reset every five years based on the Five-Year Treasury Rate plus 1.868%, with a floor of 6.45%. Ameren intends to use the net proceeds for general corporate purposes, including repaying short-term debt. Barclays Capital, BofA Securities, J.P. Morgan Securities, Morgan Stanley, MUFG Securities Americas, Truist Securities, PNC Capital Markets, and Scotia Capital are joint book-running managers for the offering.
