Requirements
Eight years of Incident Handler or Incident Response experience.
Ability to lead cyber investigations and brief updates to the customer and team lead.
Current DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification, such as CCNA Security, CySA+, CICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, or SSCP.
Current DoD 8570 CSSP-Analyst certification, such as CEH, CFR, CySA+, GCIA, GCIH, GICSP, or SCYBER.
Active Top Secret clearance with SCI.
Responsibilities
Coordinate across the enterprise to ensure network security devices are monitored and receive or generate alerts.
Identify security risks and exposures, determine the causes of security violations, and suggest procedures to halt future incidents and improve security.
Perform network traffic analysis using raw packet data, NetFlow, IDS, IPS, and custom sensor output as it pertains to the cybersecurity of communications networks.
Monitor tiered alerts for all operational networks.
Maintain documentation for processes and procedures.
Create incident reports with high-level and in-depth details for investigations.
Lead investigations and mentor junior analysts.
Develop a training pipeline and brown-bag sessions for team cross-training.

Job Description: Dobbs Defense Solutions is seeking an experienced NOSC Cyber Analyst to support our customer onsite in Washington D.C.
Duties:
Coordinate across the enterprise to ensure network security devices are being monitored and are receiving or generating alerts.

Salary Range: Pay range information will be disclosed consistent with applicable state and local pay transparency laws once available. For this position, the anticipated salary range is $97,000 - $137,280 annually, depending on experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role.
