  • Lead the HR workstream from early diligence and risk assessment through signing, close, Day 1, stabilization, and ongoing integration.
  • Manage HR diligence materials and assess employment terms, compensation, benefits, pensions, payroll, immigration, contractor use, employee disputes, collective arrangements, transfer requirements, and related liabilities.

  • Assess employee engagement and design initiatives to improve it.
  • Manage employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, performance management, disciplinary action, investigations, accommodations, and sensitive employee concerns across varying legal and cultural contexts.

  • Engage outside counsel on complex matters as needed.
  • Lead HR planning and execution for restructurings, reductions in force, business closures, entity changes, and individual separations, including documentation, manager preparation, communications, and cross-functional coordination.

About the company

Perseus Group is a buyer-and-hold investor that acquires B2B vertical market software (VMS) firms and keeps them for the long term. It buys specialized, mission-critical software businesses, then manages and develops them, often with additional resources and expertise, to help them grow steadily over many years. The company’s product is not a software release but a portfolio of software businesses that Perseus supports through ongoing partnerships and operational guidance. Perseus differentiates itself from others through patient, long-term ownership under the Constellation Software umbrella, a focused strategy on vertical market software, and hands-on support to help portfolio companies scale rather than pursue rapid exits. Its goal is to build durable value by growing a portfolio of profitable software companies and delivering steady performance for its investors and stakeholders.
