About the Job

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in computer science, information systems, design, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent demonstrated building experience.
  • Typically 7+ years of relevant experience building automations, agents, integrations, or applications, consistent with a P5 individual contributor.
  • A demonstrated portfolio of solutions taken from prototype to production.
  • Fluency with low-code and agent platforms, with the ability to use code such as Python, scripting, and APIs when appropriate.
  • Hands-on experience building with large language models and agent tooling, including prompt, logic, and integration design.
  • Ability to move from problems to working prototypes quickly and iterate based on real usage.
  • Ability to build for reliability, quality, security, and maintainability, and to document and hand off solutions cleanly.
  • Certifications in relevant low-code or agent platforms such as Power Platform, Copilot Studio, or ServiceNow are preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Translate defined inputs, outputs, decision points, and ownership into concrete solution designs or mockups.
  • Make pragmatic build decisions about what an agent handles, what is automated, and what remains human; flag processes that need further readiness before building.
  • Build agents, automations, and lightweight apps that address HR problems surfaced and readied by process owners across HR and partners within the Workforce Innovation team.
  • Rapidly turn readied workflows into working builds, favoring momentum and learning over perfection, then refine based on user feedback.
  • Build across low-code and agent platforms such as Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Platform, ServiceNow, and Moveworks, using code such as Python, scripting, and APIs where appropriate.
  • Lead prototypes and builds, partnering with a UX designer on interface designs and McKesson Technology on complex enterprise solutions.
  • Pilot solutions with real users, instrument them, and improve them based on actual usage and performance.
  • Tune prompts, logic, and integrations to improve quality, reliability, and user experience.
  • Harden solutions for production, including error handling, guardrails, data handling, and monitoring; document how solutions work and prepare them for transition and lifecycle management.
  • Hand solutions to HR Systems, operations, or COE owners for ongoing ownership, in line with standards set by the Deployment Lead.
  • Build and curate reusable components, patterns, and templates to accelerate future solutions.
  • Contribute to shared build, security, and quality standards for AI and automation in HR.

Desired Qualifications

  • HR or enterprise-process context is a plus.
