Learning & Development Manager

Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Learning & Development Manager to join our team in Udaipur, India. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing comprehensive training and development programs that drive organizational excellence and foster employee growth. Reporting to the Director of People & Culture, you will collaborate with leadership teams across the organization to create a culture of continuous learning and professional development. • Design, develop, and facilitate a variety of training programs including onboarding, leadership development, skills enhancement, and specialized workshops to support organizational goals and employee development
• Execute a comprehensive onboarding experience for new employees, ensuring a smooth transition and strong foundation for success; continuously update and improve onboarding processes based on feedback and organizational needs
• Conduct thorough needs assessments in collaboration with department leaders to identify skill gaps and training requirements; translate findings into actionable learning strategies
• Manage and maintain accurate records of all training activities, participant information, and completion rates; analyze training data and metrics to measure program effectiveness and ROI
• Support the development and coaching of departmental trainers, ensuring consistency, compliance, and quality across all training initiatives throughout the organization
• Oversee the administration of online learning management systems, including course assignments, progress monitoring, and completion tracking for mandatory and elective programs
• Partner with operational leaders to review job task checklists and training tools, ensuring they support effective departmental onboarding and skill development
• Collaborate with regional Learning & Development counterparts to align strategic direction, share best practices, and maintain consistency across the organization
• Support apprenticeship programs and educational assistance initiatives, fostering a culture of lifelong learning and professional growth
• Oversee the performance review program to ensure timely and thorough completion of probationary and annual reviews for all employees
• Contribute to broader People & Culture operations and organizational initiatives as assigned; demonstrate flexibility and willingness to adapt to evolving business needs

Qualifications

**Required Qualifications:**

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in a leadership role, preferably within the hospitality, service, or corporate environment
• Proven experience in designing and facilitating training programs that drive measurable results and service excellence
• Demonstrated expertise in conducting needs assessments and translating organizational requirements into effective learning solutions
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Publisher, Excel, and Word)
• Proficiency with online learning management systems and training administration platforms
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and develop data-driven improvement strategies
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present information clearly to diverse audiences
• Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
• Ability to build and maintain strong interpersonal relationships with colleagues at all organizational levels

**Preferred Qualifications:**

• Previous experience in Learning & Development, talent management, or human resources functions
• University degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies
• Experience with budget management and financial planning for training programs
• Familiarity with change management practices and organizational development
• Coaching and mentoring experience
• Experience developing and delivering leadership development programs
