Requirements
  • CPCU and/or ARM designations a plus
  • 6-10 years insurance experience (e.g. carrier, broker, corporate insurance)
Responsibilities
  • Assists in protecting Citi's assets and continuity of business from fortuitous loss, through risk analysis/financing, placement and administration of property/casualty insurance programs, captive insurance company management.
  • Support insurance program placement/renewal activities as needed; including timely and accurate underwriting information gathering and analysis, policy review and claims monitoring/tracking.
  • Provide insurance support to business units and senior/business risk managers for various business specific needs, e.g. the establishment and monitoring of credit and political risk standards, review and approval of risk insurance placements and product programs.
  • Provide risk management advisory services to Citi business units globally.
  • Contributes to insurance claims management, loss engineering and risk control.
  • Appropriately assess risk when making business decisions, demonstrating consideration for the company's reputation and safeguarding the company, its clients, and assets.
