About the job
- Graduation from an accredited school of Radiology is required.
- Five years of experience in the Radiology field is required.
- Working knowledge of budget preparation and control, departmental staffing and disciplinary procedures, marketing, patient and public relations strategies, planning and implementing new programs, and interpreting and managing physician interactions and requests regarding Radiology is required.
- ARRT registry is required.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification is required.
- CPI certification is required.
- In consultation with the Radiology Director, assist in planning, directing, organizing, controlling, staffing, and evaluating all areas of Radiology.
- Manage areas of responsibility within the rules and regulations of state and federal agencies.
- Share responsibility for developing, interpreting, applying, and implementing departmental policies, budgets, and strategic plans.
- Achieve departmental and organizational objectives and improvement opportunities by providing quality diagnostic services.
- Manage all duties of the PACS Administrator by supporting departmental needs and outside referral sources.
- An associate degree or advanced courses in management or a related field are preferred.
- Three years of supervisory experience is preferred.
- ARRT registry in computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, and/or Nuclear Medicine is preferred.
