Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 6-8 years of experience in ecommerce or digital marketing, ideally in a direct-to-consumer retail brand environment.
  • Proficiency in Shopify, including product catalog management, product-listing optimization, promotion creation, and merchandising execution.
  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics, website analytics tools, A/B testing, and search engine optimization best practices.
  • Experience optimizing websites for speed, user experience, and mobile performance, with in-depth knowledge of user experience and user interface best practices.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret sales data, identify trends, product performance, and customer behavior, and translate findings into reports and recommendations for stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to mobilize cross-functional teams and projects.
  • Experience with Google Drive and Microsoft Office Suite.
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Senior Manager of Ecommerce on site merchandising strategy to improve bounce rate, conversion, and sell-through rate against planning and ecommerce key performance indicators.
  • Proactively merchandise the site to capitalize on marketing, performance marketing, and retention activity.
  • Use data analytics to generate insights and identify growth opportunities related to collections, merchandising, assortment, user experience, site architecture, taxonomy, and the critical path.
  • Develop a testing roadmap, execute tests, and report results to leadership.
  • Partner with the development agency to implement the user experience and user interface enhancement roadmap.
  • Improve site technical performance and search engine optimization and generative engine optimization to increase digital visibility.
  • Review and recommend improvements to the critical path, partnering with digital marketing channel leaders to quantify tactics and provide recommendations.
  • Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reporting on site metrics and merchandising and product sell-through performance, including insights, recommendations, and action items for digital marketing strategy.
  • Monitor and report on sell-through rate to inform channel strategies and coordinate with planning to achieve key performance indicators.
  • Develop ecommerce benchmarks and reporting, and communicate site performance to leadership.
  • Own end-to-end website execution of product launches, including product uploads, content uploads, quality assurance, and cross-functional coordination among planning, photography, copy, ecommerce, and brand teams.
  • Coordinate and execute site content updates by planning updates, briefing the development agency, conducting quality assurance, and tracking and reporting performance.
  • Lead execution of site components for product launches and promotional events, including semi-annual sale events.
  • Own the website campaign calendar and workflow for ecommerce, retail, and special events; prepare briefs and review creative using best practices, engagement data, and testing responses.
  • Facilitate ecommerce channel merchandising and product strategy, supporting channel owners on their merchandising strategies.
  • Collaborate with brand and creative teams to track and report on site creative and drive a data-backed creative strategy.
  • Partner with paid media and marketing team members to optimize on-site conversion rate.
  • Collaborate with the Retention Manager to develop loyalty and retention touchpoints and programs, and create site segmentation and personalization strategies.
  • Identify website bugs and payment issues and implement effective solutions.
