About the job

Requirements
  • Five or more years of experience in growth, demand generation, marketing operations, or revenue operations, including at least one year building rather than briefing.
  • Evidence of building workflows, integrations, internal tools, or small products used by a commercial team.
  • Hands-on experience with large language model work beyond chat prompting, including agentic workflows and evaluation of output quality.
  • Commercial judgment to interpret a funnel, assess lead quality with sales, and prioritize the most important work.
  • Experience with enterprise or account-based marketing motions involving a small, named target list rather than volume lead generation or product-led growth.
  • Comfort with technical subject matter, including sufficient carbon removal science knowledge to build automations around it.
  • Self-direction and the ability to develop an approach to an undefined problem.
  • Ability to use or work with tools such as Clay, HubSpot, n8n, Make, application programming interfaces, SQL, Python, or Claude Code.
Responsibilities
  • Own systems that move accounts from unaware to engaged to sales-ready, including signal capture, scoring, sequencing, and escalation.
  • Build account-level personalized campaigns using company data and research, and measure whether personalization changes behavior.
  • Ship small tools and calculators that generate attention and first-party data, then connect them to outreach.
  • Build on existing account engagement tracking in HubSpot.
  • Establish automated coverage and pipeline reporting by account tier.
  • Own data quality across enrichment, target-list management, and customer relationship management hygiene, deciding what to fix, automate, or leave unchanged.
  • Own event-driven demand generation, including pre-event target lists and outreach, post-event follow-up sequences, and per-event pipeline attribution.
  • Own go-to-market stack decisions and integrations across HubSpot, enrichment, sending infrastructure, signal tools, and large-language-model workflows.
  • Partner with the Content and Campaigns Manager to build a context layer that prevents automation and campaign quality from drifting as the system grows.
  • Partner with sales on adoption so account directors use the systems and obtain measurable impact.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in climate technology, carbon markets, energy, or another market where buyers need education before purchasing.
  • Having built something publicly, such as a tool, calculator, open-source workflow, or newsletter with a system behind it.
  • Exposure to request-for-proposal-driven or procurement-led sales cycles.
  • Experience supporting events as a demand channel.

Supercritical secures new funding to expand carbon removal supply development | Supercritical

Supercritical has announced a new funding round led by Greencode Ventures to expand its carbon removal supply development program.

Boeing buys 20,000-ton portfolio of biochar, ERW carbon removals.

Boeing buys 20,000-ton portfolio of biochar, ERW carbon removals. Carbon removal marketplace Supercritical announced a new agreement with Boeing for the purchase of 20,000 tons of durable carbon dioxide removal (CDR), sourced from a series of suppliers pursuing biochar and enhanced rock weathering (ERW) projects in developing countries. Biochar and enhanced rock weathering (ERW) are widely viewed as among the more scalable carbon removal approaches, supported by abundant feedstocks and potential co-benefits such as improvements to soil health and agricultural productivity. Under the agreement, Boeing worked with Supercritical to design a high-quality, diversified portfolio, reviewing more than 200 projects globally, assessed against a 118-point scientific framework covering additionality, permanence, measurability, and operational readiness. The selected portfolio includes six suppliers across Brazil, Bolivia, Namibia, and India, spanning biochar and enhanced rock weathering solutions. Suppliers selected include Exomad Green, Ground Up, InPlanet, NetZero, Varaha, and PlanBoo Michelle You, CEO of Supercritical said: "Most buyers still start from a shortlist of preferred suppliers. They look at what's available and pick projects. The companies that are ahead of the curve are starting from criteria. They trust their procurement partner's quality bar, and that partner goes and finds, or builds, the portfolio that clears it. That's what we did for Boeing. We screened more than 200 projects against our vetting framework, and the portfolio we built is what passed. That's the difference between a broker selling projects and a two-sided marketplace building market infrastructure." The announcement follows recent agreements in which Boeing agreed to purchase 80,000 tons of CDRs from carbon removal companies Grassroots Carbon and Carbonfuture. Boeing said that it will apply carbon removal credits to address residual Scope 3 - category 6 emissions associated with business travel, supporting the company's broader strategy to reduce and neutralize hard-to-abate emissions across its value chain. The company has voluntarily offset its Scope 1 and Scope 2 CO[2] emissions from manufacturing and operational facilities since 2020, along with Scope 3 business travel emissions, primarily using traditional carbon offsets. In 2024, Boeing said it would adopt an "avoid first, remove second" carbon management strategy, prioritizing emissions reductions at the source while using offsets and removals for hard-to-abate emissions. Allison Melia, Vice President of Global Enterprise Sustainability, Boeing said: "We're committed to supporting the responsible growth of our industry and high-integrity carbon removal is key to cutting net emissions as global air travel demand continues to rise. Our work with Supercritical supports that goal by expanding access to high-quality, diversified, science-vetted carbon removal credits."
