About the job

Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Health Informatics, or a related technical discipline is required.
  • At least 4 years of experience in software engineering, solution deployment, data engineering, or client-facing technical delivery roles is required.
  • At least 2 years of experience with SQL and/or Python is required.
  • The candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
  • The candidate must be able to travel 25% on average, based on the work and clients and industries or sectors served.
  • The candidate must have deep technical capability and healthcare domain fluency to adapt agentic solutions to client workflows.
  • The candidate must have revenue cycle knowledge spanning patient access, charge capture, coding, claims submission, denials management, and accounts receivable, and understand how revenue cycle performance drives provider financial outcomes.
  • The candidate must have hands-on engineering proficiency in Python and SQL, and familiarity with APIs, data integration patterns, and cloud-based services such as AWS, to build and deploy production-grade capabilities in client environments.
  • The candidate must have hands-on experience designing, adapting, or hardening agentic workflows, including multi-agent coordination, tool invocation, and memory or state management, using modern agent frameworks.
  • The candidate must understand the retrieval and knowledge layers behind agentic systems, including retrieval-augmented generation pipelines, embeddings, vector stores, and increasingly knowledge graphs, and how to ground use cases in unstructured healthcare data alongside structured sources.
  • The candidate must be familiar with healthcare data and revenue cycle standards, including 837/835 claim and remittance transactions, CARC/RARC denial and adjustment codes, and DRG/CPT/HCPCS coding, and be able to reason through data quality and business context.
  • The candidate must be able to translate technical tradeoffs and constraints into business decisions and carry technical and executive conversations within an engagement.
  • The candidate must be able to assess whether an agentic use case can be reused with light configuration, needs substantial extension, or calls for greenfield development.
  • The candidate must be comfortable supporting commercial and sales-adjacent activities, including demonstrations, use-case fit assessments, and solution qualification, alongside post-sale delivery and value realization.
  • The candidate must be able to build trust and durable working relationships with client stakeholders and account teams in predominantly virtual and distributed delivery environments.
  • The candidate must have written and verbal communication skills to develop client-facing materials, lead technical discovery conversations, and work effectively across distributed teams and international time zones.
Responsibilities
  • Partner with Health Care consulting teams and Converge for Healthcare account and product teams during the sales cycle by running technical discovery, demonstrations, and use-case fit assessments to qualify client needs and shape a credible path to production value.
  • Work with clients to develop agentic use cases on Data Studio, adapting and extending Deloitte's use-case library or building greenfield solutions for client-specific problems, and engineer them into durable, production-scale capabilities.
  • Define the data and context each agentic use case needs to perform reliably, confirm the unified data foundation can support it, and partner with data engineering and client teams to close gaps; own use-case data needs rather than the underlying pipelines feeding the foundation.
  • Support client training, onboarding, and adoption, and remain engaged after launch to identify expansion opportunities grounded in real usage.
  • Capture recurring client needs, data patterns, and delivery learnings, and translate them into agentic capability requests and reusable extensions for product and engineering teams.
Desired Qualifications
  • A master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline is preferred.
  • Actively follow evolving agentic frameworks, tools, and techniques, and adopt new approaches as the field changes.

About the company

Deloitte audits companies and advises businesses and governments on tax, technology, and risk, and it is one of the Big Four, the world's four largest accounting firms. In 1849 its founder became the first independent auditor of a public company, Britain's Great Western Railway. Its auditors check companies' financial reports for errors and fraud before investors rely on them, while its consultants design strategy, install business software, and defend clients against cyberattacks. Clients pay fees for each audit or project, and each country's Deloitte firm is a separate business owned by its local partners. Deloitte was founded in London in 1845 and is based in New York.

AI forces companies to rethink hiring practices as job applications surge and entry-level pipelines shrink

Business Insider convened 15 HR and C-suite leaders in Davos to discuss how AI is reshaping hiring and talent pipelines. The roundtable, presented by Indeed, revealed growing concerns about entry-level positions and skills assessment. Deloitte's Elizabeth Faber emphasised maintaining a "human-led, technology-powered" approach whilst carefully navigating reduced junior hiring. TCW's Melissa Stolfi noted her firm has downsized its analyst class but maintains a pyramid structure to preserve apprenticeship culture and future leadership pipelines. Indeed's chief economist Svenja Gudell warned that whilst tech employers now demand five-plus years' experience, this creates future talent shortages if junior hiring continues declining. Salesforce's Nathalie Scardino said her company receives two million applications annually and has shifted focus from years of experience to learning aptitude. Manpower Group's Becky Frankiewicz noted AI can process candidates faster whilst reducing bias, potentially unlocking opportunities beyond traditional qualifications.

Deloitte to hire 50,000 employees in India, eyes Mangaluru expansion

Deloitte plans to hire 50,000 employees in India and is evaluating Mangaluru, Karnataka, as a potential new location, according to South Asia CEO Romal Shetty. The company currently employs 140,000 people in India, representing one in four Deloitte employees globally. Shetty said India hosts 50% of all global capability centres worldwide, with significant growth potential in Tier II and Tier III cities. He proposed creating digital economic zones integrating GCCs, GPU-based data centres, startups and academic institutions to accelerate expansion. The CEO called for streamlining GCC setup processes from six months to two weeks, whilst acknowledging infrastructure constraints around energy and water for data centres. Shetty noted Mangaluru offers advantages including talent availability and real estate, adding the company's presence there is a matter of timing.
